Thank you Eric Honaker and Kevin Kramer for your assistance in keeping the 25 mph limit on Manner Dale between Breckenridge Lane and the light at Summerfield/Six Mile Lane. Families that live along this stretch of roadway appreciate the slower speed so we can safely exit or enter or driveways. I would like to see one or two speed bumps installed along this roadway, but understand that this may not happen. Hopefully with more presents of the police enforcing the posted 25 mph will slow the speeders down. Also we need to enforce to those who travel through our residential section that the center lane on Manner Dale is not a through lane or a passing lane, but a lane added to assist those who live along this roadway to enter or exit their residence.
Again, thank you BENA for all your efforts to make our neighborhood a wonderful place to live.

Mary,
I just found out the city is going to be doing a speed hump survey for Manner Dale within the next few weeks. This will let us know if Manner Dale is a candidate for speed humps. There several more steps to this process if the street meets speed hump requirements. Also the police have been notified of the problem and we should be seeing increased traffic enforcement on Manner Dale. The sixth division will have officers at our Feb. 11 meeting to discuss the issue also. Thank you for your comments, they are really appreciated.
